During cage-free Group Play Dog Daycare at Northern VA and Rockville, MD's Healthy Hound Playground, your pup is paired with dogs of similar activity level and size. Our playrooms are always supervised with attendants that have had the benefit of training with a 20 year dog daycare veteran. Group play is a great way for your pup to learn positive socialization behavior, get much needed exercise, as well as have companionship and stimulation during times you may need to be away from home...or work from home! Dogs of all ages and activity levels will enjoy coming for a day of fellowship and friends at Healthy Hound Playground.

Pack Introductions & Evaluations
At Healthy Hound, your dog’s Group Play introduction/evaluation will be on their first day of daycare, and other than the regular daycare cost, there is no extra charge for the intro service.
After you drop off your pup for their first day, we will introduce them into the playroom as soon as we are able. We stagger times for introductions so that we may give each dog the attention they deserve, to provide them the best chance of being successful at our facility.
A trained staff member will gradually integrate your dog with the appropriate pack. There is not a standard duration for an introduction – some dogs take only a few minutes, while others can take longer. After the introduction has occurred, and your pup has been given some time to adjust, you will receive a call from the supervisor to advise you on how things went. To ensure the playroom stays as calm as possible, we do not allow parents to view the integration process.
